Zina: don't is used with all verbs in the present simple with negative sentences. it is an auxiliary verb (un auxiliaire)
Tired is an adjective, it needs to be used with the auxilliary "to be"
you say:
I am tired / i am not tired
here you don't need to add "do" or "don't"
don't c'est = ne pas comme don't worry =ne vous inquiétez pas
not c'est = pas comme i am not worried = je ne suis pas inquiet
