I am here for a moment.To write in English, first don't translate French into English.I agree with you that sometimes it's correct to do it, but I think each language has own particularities like for exemple, in English we use a lot the idiomatic expressions and also the prepositional verbs and in this case we have to learn them,,,,,,,,it's easy, isn't it? 😊)

we dn't forget algeria is very rich in languages so the new generation are all time aware about this !
since my childhood until nowdays i just improuve my english with studying all time i have many manners to get it the english to buy a book or english magazine to read hamlet of shakeaspear ye i do it it's was very hard for me in the begening but believe me in the end i enjoy to read it what was difficults for me oen day began suddenly easy
also bu it's not enough whom want realy learning or to discover realy english must travel make some tripes with family or fiends das'nt matter the most majore thing i supose is how to discover our selves in this language more and more and secondely to get and to find some new areas why not in our big country like algeria not only on the board …
so we must whrite we have too learn more and more life is bound like that and to use it in our usual talking here in order to be universel too

well…..All dziriellenautes don't live in Algeria and of course since the network is developed we fell that the knowledge of one language is not enough to improve ourselves and to have an accurate informations in the right moment. i think , nowdays most of algerien native of Algeria or lives abroad , is multilanguage, at least he knows three languages and the most interesting thing is that he is fluent when he switch on between Arabic and tamazigh then French and also English " naturaly" ( English is the new fashion spoken between youth in Algeria) without forgotten Spanish which is very spoken in Algeria and specialy in ouest of it.


Saradz, thank you a lot for your advises and i promise to keep it up…..just one thing , is it easy for you to watch and follow English movies or something else in english without reading the subtitle ? Now , i try to watch all my serials and movies in English witout aides and the Américaine accent is not really easy to understand and particularly the NY one…..May you give me a good methods to have more ability to understand speedly ……. 🤡

I really encourage you to watch your favorite tv shows (not serials! ) in english. That's the way you learn a foreign language, it really is. My kid is 3 and when we watch Disney movies I always chose the english original version. And when you watch your US / UK tv shows dont spend to much time reading the subtitles, try to hear the language, separete words, meanings in different contexts.

I would also recommend you to try to read novels in english, you might not understand everything in the beginning, but read and re-read the novel, look up words in your dictionary and you'll increase your vocabulary in no-time.

I watch actually the ""tv show"" whitout the subtitles, i am more in my ease and i fell that i am more concentrated but, it's not always easy, as i said , they speak quickly.

Then, i 've also begun to read a short novels but here i 've tryed sometimes to bear some sentences and idiomatic expressions in my mind and it takes me so time to finish a book, neverthless, it made me happy when i finish it ( i think after """when""" we always use a present simple, doesn't it?)

Yes I'm fluent in english, i probably speak better than I write and read better than I speak 🤪
That's just because I live in France and don't get to speak as often as I'd like and since french is my fourth language I try to concentrate on that and learn better french. I do however use english at work aswell as french. No I didn't grow up in an english speaking country, I grew up in Norway and the TV is all english so that's how I learned english. Havent spent alot of time in any english speaking country, however I would recommend you to.

I'd love to help you out if you have any questions. I think it's great that you wwatch your tv shows without the subs because even though it's difficult and you get tired it's a great practice. Soon you'll realise that it'll get alot easier for you!!
