hi everybody, English nowadays is an important language wich give us an opportunities to be aware and open in over the world.Why my proposition of sharing with you this forum in order to improve my writing in english otherwise we could also exchange our ideas and opinion about what you want to say. To propose also how we can have the best way to learnt this language and i think to do it is to begin writing and thinking in English, what do you think, let's go!!!!! hope to read you soon. yoursPacem

hello girls, I like the idea to learn english on playing, it's too difficlt to speak than to write because when we write, we can take our time and develop the sentences.
Any way, I like this langage too much, i don't speak very well but i always try, when i was in turkey in my honey moon 05months ago, it was me who talk to pepople to know the ways etc with dictionary on my hand,and i had lougth a lot when i saw my meastakes but it was too exiting thing.

well, today's idiom says: apple of someone's eye (prunelle des yeux)

My mum is the apple of my eye (ma maman est la prunelle de mes yeux)

you say that someone is the apple of your eye when you love that person dearly and cherish him/her (vous dites de quelqu'un qu'il/elle est la prunelle de vos yeux quand vous adorez cette personne et vous la chérissez)

Sissi: oui, pig c'est le cochon (porc se dit en anglais de la viande)
c'est l'expression équivalente, en algérien on dit: ki nouwar el melh, en arabe classique (pays persan du Golf) on dit: idha hajjat al bakara 3ala kourouniha (lorsque la vache ira en pèlerinage sur ses cornes) en espagnol on dit : cuando las vacas vuelen ( quand les vaches voleront)

voila ma belle, à retenir que ces expressions sont internationale dans leur sens, mais on les exprime différemment d'une langue à un autre 😊
