hamdoulillah, I am good.
This morning, I took my kids to Coran lesson and to the surprise of all the parents the teacher didn't come!! a friend of him told us that he went for a long trip last Friday!! he didn't have even the descency to call the imam and tell him!! We didn't know what to do and then i stepped in and told the imam thet i would take the lesson, a big relief to everybody, hamdoulillah. However, i didn't do my shopping!

Hi Rasiry, you did a good and nice thing by doing the lesson 💅
I guess that such things (absence of the teacher) don't happend often to you that's why all the parents were surprised, but here in Algeria something like this doesn't surprise us at all!! I know some teachers who teach in primary schools, they took a sick leave for months without bringing any substitute to the pupils 👀 👀

I was talking about that guy that didn't tell the imam, at least he would do something about it.

Here of course is another system. Teachers stay at school from the beginning
of the day to the end of it (4:30 pm), so if a teacher doesn't come, a teacher that has a spare time replace him/her straight away while the daily organiser calls around for substitutes. There are even agencies for substitutes, you put you name down in that agency, and the school calls them to call you. the school pays the agency and this one pays you. It is a good idea I think to not have classes without teachers.
